Relief

Leave an impression.

Press a path into a field of ceramic columns. Build a pattern while paused, then let the surface rise and your marks soften away.

Behind the experience

A surface with a little give.

Press into the field and the columns beneath your touch sink. Drag to leave a narrow valley. Light catches the beveled edges, making each change in height visible.

Keep the impression. Let it go.

Pause to build a pattern that stays where you put it. Cross an earlier line, deepen a section or leave an untouched ridge between two cuts. Resume and watch the columns ease back toward their original surface.

Change the material’s mood.

Twelve palettes change the color of the columns without clearing your composition. Use fullscreen for more room, or Reset for a fresh surface. Arrow keys position the keyboard contact point; Enter presses and Space pauses.

From experiment to page

A sense of depth, even without a touch.

Relief explores how a change in height can give a flat screen a tactile quality. For a design, architecture or materials brand, a restrained version could reveal a product detail or create a quiet transition between sections. It could follow a set motion or respond locally to a visitor, with the page’s message and main action kept clear.

What could motion bring to your website?

A quiet background, a short visual story, or something visitors can shape. We’ll start with your brand, your page, and what people need to do there.
